Richmond Oak Ltd provides and constructs hardwood conservatories and orangeries manufactured from oak in and around the County of Gloucestershire encompassing: Bishops Cleeve, Barnsley, Chipping Sodbury, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Gloucester, Moreton in Marsh, Minchinhampton, Tetbury, Pucklechurch, Tewskbury. Every conservatory and orangery has been individually constructed in high grade oak.
Gloucestershire Oak – Past Uses
Although one of the most popular and desired trees for a variety of products from furniture to boat building, the oak tree was once only used for its acorns as a source of food to feed swine. Until the development of steel instruments to cut trees the oak tree was considered impregnable.
