Cumbria Oak - Historic Recognition

There is an increasing demand that Britain recognise its ancient trees. Whilst listed buildings of note are awarded blue plaques, ancient trees have not been recognised. National treasures include Robin Hoods Oak at Sherwood Forest, Newtons Apple tree and the Parliament Oak.
