We create and supply custom built designer conservatories manufactured in grade one oak within the Durham region and adjacent areas including the key places of: Bishop Auckland, Consett, Darlington, Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees. Each designer conservatory roof is custom built by master craftsmen. We can also supply conservatories on a self build basis. We provide a full planning service and can often obtain listed building consent for a conservatory or orangery for listed properties where others may struggle.

Durham Oak – A Local History

In many counties towns and cities are named after the historic English oak tree. The original name for Aycliffe in Durham was ‘Acley’ which means ‘oak clearing’. The plural form is Aclam which is sited near York.
