Essex Oak – Types Found Locally

The oak found most frequently in Essex is the Pedunculate Oak, but you can also find Sessile Oaks. The most popular oak across the rest of the UK and Europe, and the one that graces most of our stately parks, is the Common Oak (Quercus Robur).
