Hampshire Oak – A Seafaring Story

The oak trees in the new forest in Hampshire were for many years grown to build the ships for Britain’s naval fleets. Such was Britain’s seafaring supremacy that Philip the king of Spain laid elaborate plans to destroy the new forest by fire. His plot failed and the oaks in the new forest remain strong and proud today.

You can find out more about the conservatories and orangeries we build in and around the area by visiting our local website Hampshire Conservatories.
