Kent Oak – A Haven for Wildlife
Ancient Kent oaks provide roosting places for many of Kent's owls and bats. Over the centuries, the centre of an oak tree can decay and the hollow trunk provides a natural refuge. Colonies of bats often hibernate within the oaks during the winter.
An conservatory was built in about 1823 Dartford for Thomas Caldecott and much more recently, we built a beautiful Victorian Gothic Conservatory at Tunbridge Wells.
