London Oak – Preserving the Past

In the middle ages London was no more than a small town with the Thames at the centre and hundreds of smaller rivers surrounded with oak forests. Over the centuries the rivers have been filled and the forest removed, so today it is the Royal parks which provide the haven for the oak tree.
