Covid-19 and why NOW is the time to plan your new oak conservatory or orangery
Our operation during the continued Covid-19 and our reassurances to you = peace of mind.
Something that we are currently being asked by our clients are questions regarding the concern over how Richmond Oak Conservatories intend to continue operating and delivering projects during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Now whilst we know that the home improvement and building industry is on the upward trend as a result of Covid, our potential clients may not be aware of this.
We understand that you may be concerned that there could be a risk to supply chains or product delivery if there is another lockdown and may cause delays. Even possibly losing deposit payments if something happened to the company. We want to put your mind at ease based on what we know to be true from the recent months within the industry and in particular the conservatory glazed extension market.
Deposit & Guarentee Protection
We are happy to reassure you that your deposit payment is covered by our (HIP) Home Improvement and Guarantee protection that we provide, there is no risk. This is something that not all companies choose to offer their clients.
Onsite Safety and Care
The safety and happiness of our clients and installation team whilst on site is the most important thing to us. So we ensure our Covid-19 Risk Assessment is updated regularly to ensure safe and viable working practices whilst working on site.
Keeping you and our team’s health and safety is a priority. As well as adhering to social distancing guidelines further precautions are advised to our installers when travelling to/from and carrying out work on site. Face masks, antibacterial gel for hands and wipes for equipment/surfaces will be used as and when required.
Learn and adapt
As a business, Richmond Oak Conservatories, and our key suppliers have learnt from the initial lockdown period and adapted to how we operate compared the scenario first faced with the initial lockdown period.
Although the supplier chain may not be considered as 'normal', the main challenge has been keeping up with the high demand that no one initially expected from the initial lockdown period several months ago, so quick turnarounds with ordering materials may take a little longer compared to before.
This, however, is not a concern to Richmond Oak moving forward as our projects do not rely on last-minute supplies and have plenty of time to plan ahead when it comes to ordering materials or specialist products. The building and glazing industry has adapted and with our key trusted suppliers putting measures in place to evolve how they operate both from an ordering process and manufacturing perspective. Our dedicated joineries continued to operate and manufacture our frames throughout the initial lockdown phase without delays and consistently continue to do so, especially with the increase in demand.
The last six months have seen our enquiries grow to record numbers, as a result the past 3 months here at Richmond Oak has seen one of our best periods for new client projects confirming. Our installation schedule order book is now booked up till March.
Despite the concerns of Covid, this has brought about an opportunity for people to fall in love again with their properties and improve their home lifestyle.
Whilst we can not assure anyone of what will happen in the future, we can reassure you that other clients have committed and shown confidence recently by entrusting Richmond Oak to complete their project.
We are also confident that all our trade suppliers have adapted behind the scenes, as we have, out of a challenging time turned the experience into a learning curve and have and will come back stronger for it - ultimately benefiting our clients.
