Richmond Oak Conservatories is Back to Work
Richmond Oak Conservatories is delighted to announce we are back to work – albeit with some changes!
Working safely during COVID-19 in other people’s homes - Update 15/05/20
We are pleased to announce that as of Monday 11th May we have decided to phase in the return to site and resume installations of our client’s oak conservatories and orangery projects.
This decision has been based on updated government guidelines related to tradespeople working within the home during COVID-19, industry suppliers/manufacturers reopening, importantly our installation team and clients being happy to do so.
How will this work?
The safety and happiness of our team and clients whilst on site is the most important thing to us so we have completed a revised Risk Assessment to include safe and viable options to work. Keeping you and our team’s health and safety our priority.
As well as adhering to social distancing guidelines for installers and clients, further precautions are advised when travelling to/from and carrying out work on site. Appropriate PPE including as face masks, antibacterial gel for hands and wipes for equipment/surfaces will be used as required.
Richmond Oak Conservatories is committed to working together with our team and clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently and that the priority is always with the safety of all concerned.
Our head office in Hailsham, East Sussex, is not yet open as those staff who are working can continue to do so from home. Although we are looking forward to returning sometime soon when the green light is given!
Virtual meetings & on-site design consultations
If the time spent at home has given you ideas on how you would like to improve your home with a glazed extension, you have a project in mind then our experienced design team is on hand to discuss your requirements. Producing conservatory design visualisations and quote proposals via our remote virtual design consultation meetings.
Our flexible way of working ensures that we can still work closely with you (although remotely at a distance!) to create your perfect dream living space.
We will also be phasing in the return of our designers attending physical on site consultations with clients. This will be based on adhering to social distancing guidelines and our clients are happy to allow a meeting to take place within their property.
What is the process?
Our designer will book a date and time convenient for you and discuss your project requirements and aspirations in detail. This meeting will either take place online or onsite at your home depending on the individual client’s circumstances.
After your consultation, our team will create a unique design to Wow you! Providing you with 3D design visualisation concepts of what your new extended living space will look like & a detailed quotation proposal to help establish the realistic financial investment required.
When you are happy with the design and decide to proceed with making your project a reality, contracts are signed, and a technical site survey will be booked. If required, we deal with planning permission applications and building regulations on your behalf! From agreement to project completion it will be approx. 4 - 6 months depending on various factors to do with planning, joinery manufacturing and installations schedules.
