Conservatory Air Conditioning
Unless you are familiar with the workings of air conditioning units, you may be surprised to discover that they make perfectly good conservatory heaters.
This is because an air conditioning unit can use its heat pump to take warm air from outside your conservatory and direct it inside. The benefit of course is that on a summers day, the air conditioner can be keeping you cool during the day and then provide some warmth when the sun goes down in the evening.
Of course, the heat pump can provide conservatory heat throughout the winter as well, although you may need to back this up with an additional source of heating on the coldest winter days.
A conservatory designer or central heating engineer will be able to calculate your heating requirements by measuring the area of your conservatory and the expected heat loss through the glazing and dwarf walls.
